Joseph Perry Stoker, 72, a resident of Ocoee, passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at the family residence.

He was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from Holsom Bakery after 20 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States , who seved in the Military Police in Korea.

He was the son of the late Jake and Nola Stoker. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Jo Milner; and two brothers: Delmer Stoker and Doyle Stoker.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Geri Stoker of Ocoee; daughter, Saundra Faulk and husband, Mark, of Ocoee; three grandchildren: Joseph Milner and wife, Marie, and Chris Graves, all of Ocoee and Kira Chadwick of Cleveland; two sisters: Jean Williams of Acworth, Ga., and Bonnie Setser of Canton, Ga.; two brothers: Freddie Stoker of Canton and James Stoker of High Point, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at the Fort Hill Cemetery Veteran’s Section with Pastor Jerry Herron officiating.

There will be military honors and a white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
