The bride is the daughter of Lou and Debbie Patten of Cleveland and the late Nancy Haug Patten. She is the granddaughter of the late C. Louis “Buddy” and Jane Patten.
The bridegroom is the son of Ed and Mary Schoenbaechler of Louisville. He is the grandson of the late Don and Ellen Hamilton and the late Rich and Norma Schoenbaechler.
The wedding was officiated by David Garrard, pastor of St. Matthew’s Baptist Church in Louisville. Nuptial music was presented by Joe Schoenbaechler, the bridegroom’s uncle.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride’s sisters, Amy McGranahan was matron of honor and Catherine Patten was maid of honor, both of Cleveland.
Other bridal attendants included the bridegroom’s sisters, Kate Price and Kerry Ball, both of Louisville, Stephanie Simmons and Rebekah Cantrell, both of Chattanooga, Cecilia Ferguson-Bell of Chicago, and the bride’s brother, Charlie Patten of Lebanon. Alex McGranahan of Cleveland was flower girl and Braden Ball and Charlie Ball, both of Louisville, were ring bearers.
The bridegroom’s brother, Tim Schoenbaechler of Louisville, was best man. Groomsmen were Will Rueff, Shane Gordon, Chad Turner, Brad Felts, Tom Reynolds and Fred Meuter, all of Louisville, and Ian Morley, M.D., of Chicago.
The reception was given by the parents of the bridal couple at The Marcus Lindsey.
After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the newly wed Mr. and Mrs. Schoenbaechler are at home in Louisville.
