She was born on March 16, 1961, in Jackson, Mich., to John and Sue Crank, second child of four.
Destined by being born into a pastor’s family to be influenced by faith, servitude and an unending song in her heart, she was loved and appreciated by everyone she met.
She graduated at Lakeview High School in Battle Creek, Mich., in 1979. She enrolled into Lee College to major in ministry of music where she fell in love with her soul mate Randy Ringler and left Lee College to receive her MRS degree.
From this union, she stepped into the greatest roll of her life as a doting wife and mother of four beautiful children — Kristin, Joshua, Courtney and Jacob.
Because of her God-given gifts, she worked as an organizational and executive secretary to numerous church-related positions: secretary to the Michigan Church of God state offices, secretary to the Center for Calling and Career and the latter, executive assistant to the vice president of Business and Finance at Lee University in Cleveland. Her song has blessed many and lifted to the Lord praises since the age of 3.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Dell Crank, in 2004.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Randy Ringler; daughter, Kristin; son, Joshua; daughter, Courtney; and son, Jacob, all living in the Cleveland area; father, John C. Crank Sr. (Joy) of Battle Creek; brother, John Crank Jr. of Lansing, Mich.; sisters: Bethany Brown (Michael) of Spartanburg, S.C., and Melody Crank of Lansing; 13 nieces and nephews; and friends too numerous to mention.
Sadly missed on this earth will be the automatic warmth of her beautiful smile, the uplifting lilt of her song of praise and depth of dedicated worship she generously generated in her worship of the Master. We agree with whoever said “Our loss is Heaven’s gain” and Heaven’s sounding sweeter everyday.
