Mary Frances Blackwell, 93, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at home.
She was a seamstress. She worked for Hardwick Woolen Mills and then retired after 27 years with the American Uniform Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Blackwell; her parents, Alvin and Wesa Brock; her grandson, Stephen York; sisters: Wilma Bishop and Edwina Brown; and brothers: Lewis Brock and Carl Brock.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara York and her husband, Dennis, of Cleveland; sister, Lucy Styles of Old Fort; brother, Tom Brock of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Patsy and Howard Parks.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, from the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Floyd Boggess officiating.
Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Mike Goodman, Burl Miller, Randy Brown, Matt Brown, Terry Buckner Jr. and Roger York serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends this evening from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
