Richard Alan Tinsley, 57, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 7, 2014.
He was born on Oct. 11, 1956, to the late Carl Thomas Tinsley of Cleveland and Louise Norwood Tinsley of Athens.
He had been an active member of the business community in Cleveland over the past 40 years, where he managed two photo finishing labs.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Carl and Louise, and his brother, C. Thomas Tinsley of Knoxville.
He leaves behind his brother, Greg Tinsley and his wife Jill, of Indianapolis, Ind., and their children, Christopher, Dylan, Sydnie, Cooper and Keaton; sister-in-law, Denice Tinsley of Knoxville; and nephew, Andrew Tinsley of Richmond, Ky., his wife, Amanda, and their daughter, Abbie, and son, Seth, of Knoxville.
In addition to these loved ones, he leaves behind several friends — some of whom have passed away — including Winston and Bobbie Prince (best neighbors and friends), Larry Anderson (long-time best friend) and Max and Courtney Phillips (long-time Cleveland extended family).
His family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, located at 320 Broad St. N.W., with a memorial service immediately following.
