Shirley Brady Cantrell, 70, a resident of Georgetown, passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2014, in a Chattanooga health care facility.

She was the daughter of late Erby and Pauline Fugate. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Brady; sisters: Willoughden Lee and Paulette Pressley; and brother, Larry Fugate.

She was employed by American Uniform with more than 20 years of service.

She was a member of Georgetown Church of God.

Survivors include her daughters: Annette Reed of Ocoee, Darlene Melton of Birchwood and Shirley Wooten of Benton; her son, William Dean McCorkle of Georgetown; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Fugate of Charleston; sisters: Juanita Hood, Faye Jenkins and Margie Brown, all of Ooltewah and Beverly Kessley of Benton; and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Chris Melton officiating.

Interment will follow in the Holder Cemetery by Gamble Road Baptist Church with Dustin Melton, Chris Shirk, Tommy McCorkle, Brian Robinson, Colby Shipley and Jimmy Elliott serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 this evening at the funeral home.
