A $1,000 DONATION was made to the Polk County Unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs by the Harry S. Truman Club of Bradley County in honor of Winston Prince. The Harry S. Truman club recently donated $1,000 to the Polk County Unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs in honor of Winston Prince, a native of polk county.

Prince has served as county attorney for Bradley County and the city of Benton. he was president of the Bradley County Bar Association, commander of the American Legion Post 81 and active in a number of local civic and veterans organization

prince retired from active practice in 1985.

prince served as a second lieutenant and bombardier on B-25 medium bombers in Italy during World War ii.

After he left the military, he enrolled at Cumberland Law School in Lebanon. He graduated from Cumberland in 1947, was licensed to practice law and began his legal career with the Internal Revenue Service.

He left the irs in 1953 to enter private practice in Bradley County and surrounding areas. Prince represented individuals and businesses in cases in circuit, criminal and chancery courts as well as the United States District Court in Chattanooga.

The Harry S. Truman Club is a nonprofit organization devoted to enhancing the citizenship, promoting education and supporting worthy causes in Bradley County area.
