Film and Food tasting “Hungry for Change” will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at 5860 Bates Pike S.E. The Bradley County Republican Women will meet Thursday at noon at Mountain View Inn. The speakers will be Andrew Freiberg, running for Judge of the Circuit Court, Part 3; Sandra N.C. Donaghy, running for Judge of Criminal Court, and Van Irion, running for Judge of Circuit Court.

Southview Baptist Church, 553 13th St. S.E., will have a benefit singing for Gilbert and Helen Conner, Saturday. There will be dinner served in the fellowship hall at 6 p.m. for a $5 donation per plate. The singing will begin at 7 p.m. with DeAnna Runion and Terry Neely, The Joint Heirs and Forgiven as featured singers.

Big Spring United Methodist Church, 1196 Hardwick St. S.E., will have its sausage, pancakes, biscuits and gravy breakfast, Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. There will be a charge of $6. Children 5 and under will be eat free.
