Angel Zuniga of Cleveland was accepted for the 2014 Miss Pre-Teen Chattanooga/Knoxville competition, which will be held on March 16 in Harriman. Miss Zuniga is an honor roll student at Black Fox Elementary School and attends Mount Zion New Covenant Church of God. Contestants will vie for a share of thousands of dollars in prizes and specialty gifts — each in one of four divisions including ages 7 to 19 — in modeling, interviewing skills and personality, the last of which is the No. 1 aspect of the competition. The winner of the Miss Pre-Teen title will represent Chattanooga/Knoxville and the surrounding communities at the national competition in Orlando, Fla., and will enjoy an all-expense-paid trip of five nights and six days in Orlando. More than $30,000 in prizes and awards will be presented at the national competition.
