HARDEE’S recently presented Super Star Awards to employees for their dedication, achievements and hard work during the past year. The awards were presented by Julia Scoggins, left, president, and Ed Stuteville, right, vice president of operations for J&S Restaurants Inc. Receiving awards, from left, were Brad Scoggins, loss prevention manager, who through surveillance and loss prevention methods has saved company funds and raised awareness of safety and security issues within the restaurants; Scott Lewis, human resources manager, who has implemented a Career Ladder Program to recognize and promote employees within the company as well as starting an E-Verify Program designed to make sure all employees are authorized to work in the United States; Ryan Shults, director of training, who successfully rolled out Fresh Baked Buns for all 43 Hardee’s Restaurants owned and operated by J&S Restaurants as well as ordering and setting up equipment and training the staff in every location, and supervising crew training for the opening of the new Hardee’s in Charleston. All this was accomplished while serving as district manager for six training restaurants.
