Charles Carroll has announced he is a candidate for the office of constable in the 1st District.

A native of Bradley County, Carroll is a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He is also a former 6th District Bradley County constable.

Carroll has attended the Sheriff’s Office in-serve training and has assisted the TWRA in giving hunter safety courses.

Carroll has worked closely with local agencies, including the 10th Judicial Drug Task Force, the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, the Cleveland Police Department and the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency.

Carroll noted, “Our constable in the 1st District, Donnie Hughes is retiring this year and the office must be filled with someone trustworthy with the experience to do the job.

“I would appreciate your vote,” Carroll said.
