Fishing at the YMCA

THE CLEVELAND FAMILY YMCA tranformed its outdoor pool Saturday into a “cement pond” in order to help teach children how to fish. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency furnished and stocked the pool full of rainbow trout. With several lifeguards on hand, the event provided a safe environment for children ages 3-13 to learn fundamental fishing techniques. TWRA allowed those who caught fish to take them home. The YMCA provided dot dogs, snacks and drinks and also held a raffle for various fishing supplies.
