He was born on Jan. 13, 1988, to Kevin Byrwa Sr. and Wenda Briggs Cohoon in Buffalo, N.Y.
He loved hunting, fishing, mechanics and “tinkering” around. He had lived in Polk County for the past 14 years.
He was preceded in death by his papaw, Jerry Briggs; and uncle, Robert Johnson.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Kaevin Byrwa; his unborn son, Bo Owen Byrwa; fiancé, Amber Roderick and son, Samuel Thompson; mother and stepfather, Wenda and Scott Cohoon; father and stepmother, Kevin and Tanya Byrwa; twin sister, Ashley Light Foot (Dustin); sister, Kendra Byrwa; grandparents: Robert and Gloria Byrwa and Jane and Edward Johnson; two grandmothers: Laura Briggs and Betty Beckette; and niece, Aubree Light Foot.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014, at Flint Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 501 Flint Spring Road, with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating.
The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 8 at the church.
Interment will follow the service on Monday in the Flint Springs Cemetery. Jerry Briggs Jr., Dustin Light Foot, Steve Martin, Philip Earwood, Jeremy White and Joseph Payne will serve as pallbearers.
