In order to prepare for the upcoming E.L. Ross Science Fair, students and their parents were invited to participate in “Science Fair Tip Night.”

The event was held in the Cleveland High School science wing during the evening. The purpose of the event was to hear helpful hints for producing an award-winning project for the science fair held in conjunction with the Family Fun Night recently.

Ms. Jeannie Cuervo, a Cleveland High science teacher, and the Science National Honor Society hosted the event. Presenters included the student liaison for the Chattanooga Area Science Fair, Susan Holmes, and Andrea Tipton, past winner of the local and regional science fair competitions. Cleveland High students Kara Cumberton and Naveli Shah also presented more helpful information for the budding young scientists and their families.

Following the presentations, the Ross students were given the time to ask insightful questions about the information that had been shared with them. To conclude the evening, members of the honor society gave the students and their families guided tours of the science wing.
