Margie Ruth Winkles, 74, “loving wife, mother and grandmother,” of Hermitage, formerly a resident of Cleveland for 30 years, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, at Alive Hospice at Skyline in Madison.
A native of Henderson, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Grover Sigler and Clara Evelyn Webster Sigler.
She loved her family dearly and cherished each one. She will be remembered for her devotion to her Christian faith and love for her Savior, Jesus Christ. She attended the Mount Juliet Church of God.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Avery Winkles; son, Timothy Winkles of Hermitage; daughter, Kimberly Priestwood and her husband, Jeff, of Crossville; grandchildren: Trey and Kayli Priestwood; siblings: JoAnn Conklin of Bowling Green, Ky., Brenda Heidbrink of St. Louis, Mo., and Kenneth Sigler of Kingsport; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
A graveside service was held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Don Willis officiating.
