Angel Zuniga, 10, the daughter of Maria Boring-Zunig and Miguel Zuniga of Cleveland, won Miss Congeniality and captured the title of Miss Pre-Teen Chattanooga/Knoxville. The competition was on March 16 in Harriman. The new Miss Pre-Teen won an all-expense-paid trip of five nights and six days to Orlando, Fla., where she will represent Chattanooga and surrounding areas at the national competition. The contestants will vie for a share of the $30,000 in prizes and scholarships. Miss Zuniga is an honor roll student at Black Fox Elementary School and attends Mount Zion Church of God. She enjoys cheer, soccer, singing with the Black Fox Choir and is a competitive swimmer. Her passions are drawing, reading and writing short stories. She is pursuing a life in Christian Ministry.
