Services will continue Saturday at 7 and Sunday at 8:45 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The Rev. Shea Hughes, Texas Youth and Discipleship director for the Church of God, will be the speaker Friday evening.
Hughes is a graduate of Lee University and attended the Pentecostal Theological Seminary. He served as the first director of the Lift and Redemption Benevolence Ministry.
He served planted and served seven years as pastor of the Mount Olive East Church of God. He also served as pastor of Oak Forest Church of God. Prior to his appointment at the Texas post, he served as Youth and Discipleship director in Missouri and Michigan.
Hughes and his wife, Abigail, have three sons, Micah, Ryan and Bentley.
The Rev. Tim Cushman will be the speaker on Saturday evening.
Cushman is Tennessee Youth and Discipleship director. He has served in state director of youth and discipleship positions for 20 years. He served in Delmarva, D.C., West Virginia, Great Lakes region and Northern New England.
Cushman and his wife Jodi have a daughter, Megan Dunbar, and two sons, Caleb and Jake. They have one granddaughter Adalynn Dunbar.
Dr. Stephen Paul Darnell will be the speaker during the Sunday morning and evening services.
Darnell is the administrative bishop for the Churches of God in South Georgia.
He received his ministerial credentials at age 18 and was ordained a bishop at age 26. He has served in youth ministries, evangelism, pastoral ministry, higher education and as administrative and executive positions.
He served in pastoral positions in Eastern and Western North Carolina, state director of Youth and Evangelism in Arizona and Southern New England, state director of Youth and Christian Education in Mississippi, Texas and Eastern North Carolina, and administrative bishop in Western Canada, California/Nevada and now in South Georgia. He as also served as a national evangelist, while in the military, and as president of International Bible College.
