Immogean Harris Jenkins, 73, of Cleveland, went home to be with The Lord in the early morning hours of Thursday, April 3, 2014.

She had made her home in Cleveland for more than a decade and is now survived there by her sweetheart of 46 years, John E. Jenkins; daughters and sons-in-law: Renee’ Munn and Mark Munn; Melissa M. Jenkins and Jeff E. Ramey Jr; two grandsons and their wives and children: Jonathan Scott Linton and Moriah Linton and their daughter, Kristin Belle, Jacob Michael Linton and his wife, Denise.

She was born in DeLand, Fla. and resided there until she moved to Cleveland. She is further survived by three siblings: Mary Rockiki, of Lake Mary, Fla., Andy Harris of Orange City, Fla., and Patsy Long of Eustis, Fla. ; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a mighty woman of God, loved by all who were blessed to know her. To her family she was: wife, mother, best-friend, confidant, a rock. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Companion Funeral of Cleveland, has arranged for the family and friends to come together to celebrate her life, her Christian spirit, and her legacy on Saturday and Sunday at Omega Center International (OCI) in Cleveland.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. Additional viewing hours will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014, there will be a Homecoming Celebration service honoring Immogean with Paster Mark Casto officiating. A private graveside service for family will immediately follow.

A Tribute Page with the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation has been created in Immogean’s honor, should friends choose to donate in support of ongoing research, in lieu of sending flowers. Immogean’s page can be found at http://pulmonaryfibrosis.donorpages.com/Tribute/ImmogeanJenkins.

You are encouraged to share a memory of Immogean and/or your personal condolences with her family by visiting her memorial web page and guestbook at www.companionfunerals.com.

Companion Funeral Home and the Cody family are honored to assist the Jenkins family with these arrangements.
