Need last-minute tax help? Sites open in Cleveland area

As the clock ticks toward the April 15 tax deadline, the Internal Revenue Service announced the Cleveland-area locations and hours where free tax help is available.

Help is available at:

- The Cleveland Community Center —1334 S.E. Church St., on Thursday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and April 15, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- Bradley Baptist Association — 2707 North Ocoee St. Call for an appointment at 423-476-5493. Hours are Friday, 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

- Lee University — Walker Business Building, 1120 North Ocoee St., on Friday, 2 to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon.

- Kmart — Bradley Square Mall, 200 Paul Huff Parkway, on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

IRS-certified volunteers at these sites will provide free tax preparation and e-filing to those whose household income was below $52,000 in 2013 or who file a simple tax return.
