Walker Valley High School is one of the schools involved in the Chair-ries Jubilee. Robin Russell’s art class at Walker Valley has participated in the event for the past five years.

Their “Do Dynasty” items include:

— “Sit like an Egyptian” — short, wide stool by Grace Allen and Mason Hunt.

— “Hieroglyphic Happiness” — tri-heart stand by Samantha Vargas.

— “For the Love of Kennedy” — Jackie chair by Kayla Thrift and Mary McAmis; Jack chair by Matthew Adams.

— “The Chair with the Dragon Tattoo” — antique spindle chair by Abbie Mason and Kristen Templeton.

— “Stool full of Sugar” — tall stool by Sydney Gibbons and Jennings Kelley.

— “Imagine Dragons” — magazine holder by Shelby Marr.

— “Never Grow Old” — school chair by Bailey Byers and Caitlyn Gobble.

— “Princess Pie Stand” — pie stand by taylor Wardlow and Cassie Hale.

Not only do they donate, but the students receive an art grade for their projects.

Chair-ries Jubilee begins at 6 p.m. Friday at the Museum Center at Five Points.
