United Christian Church will be holding the Annual Easter revival April 17, 18 and 19.

Local evangelist and missionary the Rev. Gene Wiseman will be ministering at the United Christian Church (headquarters church for the United Christian Church and Ministerial Association).

Pastors Charles and Margie Poteat and UCCMA President Don Warren invite everyone to attend this three-day event.

Wiseman was born in a small coal-mining town in West Virginia. He often jokes he comes from a long line of thieves and preachers, but truly, he does have a Godly heritage, with a mother and grandparents who demonstrated the power of God and prophetic gifting as though they were living right in the book of Acts, a church representative said.

In his 20s, Wiseman said he felt the call of God upon his life to preach the Gospel. He and his wife, Lorene, founded Miracle Missionary outreach, a ministry that has reached all around the world.

Wiseman is a frequent speaker on the Rev. Billye Brim’s Prayer Mountain in the Ozarks Live Webcast.

Wiseman said, “The spirit of fear will be, and even now is, being unleashed upon the earth in a greater measure and much of this darkness is coming from the rulers of the darkness of this world — men who have given themselves to be workers of spiritual wickedness, and therefore they do rule in darkness.

“I tell you these opposing powers of darkness will be overwhelmed by the firm stand and faithful actions of the true believer. The true Spirit-filled believer has been empowered, and to be empowered is to be enabled. The Holy Spirit enables the true believer to master perverted and dark circumstances,” Wiseman said.

“The empowered believer remains confident that no weapon formed against him will be able to prosper.” he said

Wiseman and his wife reside in Cleveland.

Services are at 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The church is located at 2200 Peerless Road N.W.
