Car parts stolen

Several thousand dollars in car parts were stolen from a Spring Place Road property, possibly for their metal value.

According to a report filed by deputy Darren Miller of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, Milton Humber said three Ford transmissions, two aluminum transfer cases, four radiators, transmission adapters and other miscellaneous car parts had been taken from his barn.

Evidence was recovered at the scene, according to Miller. The metal car parts taken were valued at $5,200.

- Cleveland Police Department officers recovered a car that had been stolen from a Ridgeview Drive address last week.

According to a report filed by deputy Robert Jones of BCSO, a Hyundai Tiburon had been taken from behind Margie Bell’s home.

The theft occurred either Wednesday or Thursday.

The report indicated CPD officers located and recovered the vehicle which was valued at $3,000.

A suspect had not been determined at the time of the initial report.
