members of the Tennessee Christian Preparatory School football team traveled to Franklin recently to participate in the Elite Athletics Football Combine held at the D1 Sports Complex. Each player was tested in the 40-yard dash, pro agility, broad jump, and vertical jump. They also participated in position-specific drills. Players were video recorded throughout the day for the benefit of recruiters. “The Hawks were among 40 participants, mainly from the Nashville area, and drew high praise from the staff. They represented themselves, TCPS Football, and the Cleveland area tremendously,” said TCPS coach Steve McKenzie. The TCPS Hawks will hold spring practice May 12-22, from 4-6 p.m.
