He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and attended St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church.
He was also the owner and manager of the local Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Gould Zuker; parents, Frank and Tillie Zuker; stepdaughter, Peggy Holtzer and siblings: Raymond Zuker, Norman Zuker and Rita Smokler.
He is survived by his brother, Paul Zuker; sister, Helen Pappas; granddaughters: Danielle Hawkins and Rebecca Jean Smith; many nieces and nephews; and he also leaves behind his dog Bo; special friends, Jeff and Marie Amos and many neighbors and church family.
The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at St. Therese of Lisieux. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
