STACY DURHAM from the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer recently presented the program "Fueling Potential, Racing to Win" to all Black Fox Elementary students during PE classes. The program educates students on the dangers of sun exposure and tobacco use. It also teaches students to treat their bodies like race cars and "fuel up" with healthy choices. Red light foods are choices to avoid, yellow light sometimes, and green light equals anytime. Students also received bracelets that measure UV ray exposure and books with charts to record their daily food choices.
