The Rev. Karen Holley, Ph.D. will be speaking at Heritage Fellowship Church of God in McDonald Sunday, during the 11 a.m. service in honor of Mother’s Day.

Holley currently serves at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary as the special assistant to the VPA and adjunct faculty in New Testament Greek and Theology.

Prior to coming to the seminary, Holley taught at Lee University in the Department of Theology as adjunct faculty for 16 years. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in New Testament Theology through Bangor University, Wales.

The focus of her study is “A Johannine Pentecostal Theology of Sanctification.”

Holley and her husband, Jeff, are ordained ministers in the Church of God and have been actively involved in various aspects of pulpit ministry and teaching for more than 20 years. Her parents, William and Maxine Rembert, have been involved in full-time ministry for more than 60 years. Karen and Jeff have two children, Hannah and Daniel.
