Thefts and burglary reported

The driver of a pickup truck that ran out of gas returned to his truck later and discovered he had been the victim of a burglary.

Kevin Jones told deputy Adam Beard he had run out of gas and parked his truck on Harris Creek Road, at the Interstate 75 overpass.

When he returned a few days later, Jones found someone had broken a window out and taken tools, electronics and speakers from his vehicle.

According to the report, the incident occurred during the weekend and was reported to authorities last week.

Jones estimated the value of his missing property at $2,936.

- A landscape business located on Harrison Pike fell victim to a theft over the weekend.

Tim Ware told deputy Tiffany Goodwin someone took his 6-foot by 12-foot utility trailer, which had been secured. On the trailer were posthole diggers, shovels, a wheelbarrow, sledgehammers and pitchforks.

Ware had parked and secured the trailer late Friday evening. When he returned Saturday morning, the trailer was gone. Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division Detective Zech Pike was notified of the theft.

According Goodwin’s report, the missing trailer and tools were valued at $1,900.

- Cleveland Police are searching for a man wanted on several outstanding warrants.

According to Detective Bill Parks of CPD’s Property Crimes section of the Criminal Investigations Division, Will Coleman “has several outstanding warrants on file, ranging from theft over $1,000 to theft over $10,000.

Anyone with information regarding Coleman’s whereabouts is asked to call 728-7311 to provide information.

- Tools were among items taken during a burglary reported at an Oakland Drive address.

John Pickens told deputy Doug Boucher that someone entered his garage and took tool boxes filled with tools, two sanders and a fuel container.

Pickens said the stolen property was valued at $620.

Investigation is continuing.
