From Ocoee Middle School sixth-grade members JT Samples, Tyler Heil, AnnaGrace Asbury and Sam Hood made it to the semi-final round where Hamilton County’s Silverdale Academy beat them. Bradley County 4-H members from sixth grade won fourth place in the regional contest and won T-shirts as their prize. Seventh-grade students from Ocoee Middle School Patrick McMinn, Hannah Evans, Cameron Owire and JJ Craig also advanced.

According to The University of Tennessee Extension eastern region website, “the purpose of the Clover Bowl is to acquaint 4-H members with themselves and their surroundings through participating in an enjoyable and educational program. In addition to this main purpose, it is hoped that this program will help participants develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills.”
