Bradley County 4-H members in grades 4-6 will learn about fascinating aspects of our local forests, including animals, birds, trees and streams. In addition to camp activities such as crafts and campfires, workshops will be taught in tree identification, outdoor cooking, shooting sports, orienteering and water quality testing. There will also be a visit from wildlife officers who will bring along a few of their favorite birds and snakes.
The goal of this camp is to enhance campers’ knowledge and appreciation of their area and state, along with making new friends and learning new skills.
The cost of this two-day, one night camp is $50, which includes lodging, meals, camp T-shirt and class supplies. The deadline to register for the camp is Monday, June 9.
