Designed to offer women a time to “reboot,” the Pure Garments women’s conference will feature Curtis and Charmaine Bridgeman, Cathy Payne, and Palma Hutchinson.

This practical and powerful conference will take place Friday through Sunday at the Peerless Road Church in Cleveland.

“The idea behind Pure Garments was simply to say, ‘We’re all in different stages of life and sometimes you need a reboot, so to speak,” said conference director Roxanne Corbett. “So this weekend is designed for you to have time alone with the Lord, to refocus, it’s that type of weekend.”

The conference will feature worship, workshops, dramatic presentations, pastoral counseling, a fashion show sponsored by Ever After Bridal, Friday evening dinner, and lunch on Saturday. Corbett, who has directed Cleveland’s Salvation Army Choir for several years, said a secondary goal is to help women receive the support they need to overcome life’s obstacles.

“We also desire to connect women with one another so they can have the support they need to meet everyday challenges,” she said.

The Bridgemans, who lead worship at Twin Rivers Worship Center in St. Louis, Mo., grew up in Cleveland but have since ministered around the globe. Curtis is the worship pastor at Twin Rivers Worship Center in St. Louis along with Pastor Bryan Cutshall. Classically trained, Bridgeman received his bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Lee University. The Bridgemans have worked with Jimmy Swaggart Ministries of Baton Rouge, La.; international evangelist, Perry Stone; gospel recording artist, Alvin Slaughter; and have ministered to many via television and the Internet.

General session speakers Cathy Payne and Palma Hutchinson are internationally-recognized ministers in the Church of God of Prophecy and beyond. Payne currently serves as Global Missions Ministries Coordinator and was previously International Women’s Ministries Director for many years. Hutchinson, a highly sought-after speaker and evangelist, previously served as the International Youth Ministries Director.

Additional speakers for Saturday workshops include Kay Horner, executive director of the Center for Spiritual Renewal; Jill Jones, youth minister at Peerless Road Church; Sharon Farruggia, associate pastor of Harvest Ministries in Knoxville, Tennessee; and Pat Fulkerson, women’s ministries speaker at Peerless Road Church.

The conference is open to all adult and middle and high school age women, and Corbett said some from as far away as Oklahoma, Texas, and Mississippi are planning to attend. General sessions will be love offering based, but to attend the conference with meals included. There is a $25 registration fee. Childcare is also provided, but advance notice is required.
