James Edward Fryar,70, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at his residence.
He had moved here from Texas 11 years ago. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of Cleveland Hunting, Rifle and Pistol Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Fryar and Virginia Walker Fryar, and was also preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Fryar Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Fryar, of Cleveland; three sons: James E. Fryar Jr. and wife, Kim, of Ringgold, Ga., Scot Fryar and wife, Jamie, and Rodney Fryar, all of East Ridge; daughter, Beth Savor and husband, John, of Hixson; stepdaughters, Kim Martin and Cindy Richardson, both of Cleveland; grandchildren: Amber Gardenhire, Brandon Fryar, Dusty Fryar, Rodney Fryar Jr., Hillary Fryar, Shelby Fryar, Kelby Fryar, Jackson Fryar, Kayla Reynolds, and Calvin Carlswhite; four great-grandchildren; sister, Sara Land of Crosby, Texas; and brother, Tommy Fryar of Ooltewah.
The family is planning a private memorial service.
