Meaghan Thomas of the Charleston Hardee’s was named the Best Biscuit Maker for J&S Restaurants Inc. in a “biscuit bake-off” that took place in Athens.

The contest started with 43 biscuit makers competing to be named the Best Biscuit Maker in the company for 2014.

The competition was tough, but Thomas succeeded in earning the title for 2014.

Lisa Jeffery, general manager for Hardee’s of Charleston, said, “Meaghan is an asset to the company with her dependability and willingness to do whatever is needed. Meaghan not only is the best biscuit maker, she serves as a safety coordinator and crew leader at the Charleston location.”

Thomas has been with the company for over six years and transferred to the Charleston Hardee’s when it opened in 2013.
