The flashing sign installed above the eastbound lane on the underpass on Inman Street at Five Points warns drivers Friday of the low clearance under the bridge. The flashing LED signs installed on both sides of the bridge seems to be effectively reducing the number of crashes into the bridge. Since the signs were installed July 23, 2013, there have been no crashes into the bridge since. There were nine cashes into the underpass in the 12-plus months before putting the signs in place.
