Velma Irene Randolph, 99, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She was known for her flower gardens and her devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Keevil Randolph; parents, H.P. and Callie Williams Jenkins; brothers: Walter Jenkins, Arthur Jenkins, Lester Jenkins, Fletcher Jenkins, Roy Jenkins and Bill Jenkins; and sisters, Nola Strzelecki and Verdie Matthews.
She is survived by her three children: Angela “Angee” Rapier and husband, Charlie, Rita Pirkle and husband, Fred “Edd,” and Earl Randolph and wife, Lisa, all of Cleveland; four grandchildren: Scott Varnell, Victor Pirkle, Joe Pirkle and wife, Sonia, and Megan Justice and husband, Josh, all of Cleveland; great-grandson, Maxwell Pirkle; brother, Lawrence Jenkins of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Brenda Robinson and Betty Keefer.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
