Bark For Life, yard sale to benefit the American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society has two events planned for June 28 at Stuart Park, adjacent to Stuart Elementary School.

Bark For Life, an event celebrating dogs, will be held from 2 to 3 p.m.

The Relay For Life Cancer-Fighting Yard Sale will begin at 9 a.m. and continue through the afternoon.

If you would like to donate items for the yard sale, call Janet at 728-7334 Monday through Friday.

Both of the events will help Relay For Life raise more funds and reach its goal.

Bark For Life begins with registration and pet photos from 2 to 3 p.m.

The opening ceremony will be at 3 p.m., followed by pet activities.

Activities include Cutest Trick, Best Dressed, Biggest Dog, Smallest Dog, etc.

To register online go to $20 per human/dog fee includes a bandana for the dog and a T-shirt for the human. The day of the Bark For Life, the fee will be $25 per dog/human combo.
