Donald “Donnie” H. Lynch Jr., 46, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014, at a local hospital.
He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and was employed by Eaton Corporation. He was a member of North Cleveland Church of God. He enjoyed skeet shooting. He was a loving son, brother and uncle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald H. Lynch Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Pat Lynch of Cleveland; sister, Jeannie Day and husband, Dan, of Chattanooga; brother, David Lynch and wife, Ruth, of Cleveland; nieces: Meghan Day, Matilda Lynch and Isabella Lynch; nephew, Dylan Day; aunts: June (Bill) Wolfe of Sun City, Fla., and Betty (Jerry) Sams of Candler, N.C.; uncles: Blaine (Mavis) Markland of Maryville, Ill., Bill (Donna) Markland of Sun City, Fla., Larry (Angela) Markland of Elizabethton and Jerry (Phyllis) Markland of Elk Park, N.C.; and several cousins.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Mitch Maloney and the Rev. Gary Lewis officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends on Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
