Mary Agnes “Granny” Clark, 92, of Rossville, Ga., went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday morning, June 27, 2014, surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 5, 1921, in Tullahoma, a daughter of the late Hermon and Alice Grant.

She was of the Baptist faith. She loved working in her flower beds and doing crafts. She didn’t miss the opportunity to try just about anything.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, William Earl Clark; and brother, Hermon Edwin Grant.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters: Peggy Ann Hillis and Patty Jean Park and her husband, Matthew Cole Park; one granddaughter, Suzanne Pickens (Brad); one grandson, Chris Barnwell (Cortney); one great-granddaughter, Kennadi Barnwell; numerous other extended family members; and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends today from 4 until 7 p.m in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road N.W.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014, at 3 p.m. EST in the Mount Garner Cemetery in Decherd with the Rev. Ray Gardner officiating.
