Meigs kids provided food free of charge

The Chattanooga Area Food Bank is providing food free of charge for children ages 18 and under on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays throughout the summer.

If interested, please contact Meigs Ministries at (423) 334-1071 and provide them with the following: name, address, number of children 18 and under, ages of children, and food allergies (if any).

All children in attendance are served the same meal at no charge, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and that there is no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

The program continues through July 31.

Lunches are served around 11:30 a.m. at the following locations: Lakeside Baptist Church, Profits Apartments, Five Points Apartments Summerview Apartments, Shiloh Baptist Church, Meigs County Middle School, HollyGlen/Cottonport Baptist Church, Cedar Valley Fire Hall and Price Creek Boat Ramp.
