Judy Elaine Parks, 63, of Knoxville, passed away on June 25, 2014, in a Knoxville hospital.
She was born Dec. 11, 1950, to the late Vernon and Claire Crary.
She was a resident of Cleveland for more than 20 years, until moving to Knoxville where she has resided for 10 to 15 years.
She was an artist that loved the outdoors and enjoyed painting and fishing. She was a very generous person and was said to have a heart of gold. No matter the circumstance, she would help anyone in need. Above all things, however, she loved her family and loved spending time with them.
In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Crary; and brother-in-laws: Kenneth Baker and Pat Dwyer.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory daughter, LeAnna Parks; son, James E. Parks Jr.; granddaughter, Raven Wooley; grandsons: Zac and Jordan Dodd; sisters: Sandy Baker, Jackie Freeman and Donna Dwyer; several other nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service located at 2415 Georgetown Road N.W.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. in the chapel before the service.
