Barbara Dodd Burns, 83, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014, in Cleveland.
She was born a daughter of the late William and Callie Dodd on Aug. 4, 1930, in Bradley County.
She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings: Dema Shoemaker, Oliver (Bud) Dodd, Edna Caylor, Robert Dodd, RB Dodd, JC Dodd and Edith Norris.
She is survived by husband, Bill (BB) Burns; three children: Randall Burns (Cissy) of Bishopville, S.C., Larry (Bo) Burns of Cleveland and Janice Fuller (Max) of Chattanooga; five grandchildren: Michael Burns (Amy) of Greenville, S.C., Jeffrey Burns (Chrissy) of Morrisonville, N.Y., Eric Fuller (Laura) of Chattanooga, Craig Fuller of Dallas, Texas, and Christopher Fuller (Emily) of Chattanooga; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She has been blessed by the special care and love given in recent months from son, Bo Burns; niece, Jaylene Taylor; and great-niece, Amy Womack.
A private graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
