Lily L. Wright, 85, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the family residence.
She was the daughter of the late Isabella Crum Schultz and William Schultz. Her husband, Carter H. Wright Sr., also preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Red Bank High School in New Jersey, and she received her medical lab technician degree from Cleveland State Community College. She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, and she was a member of the Westmore Church of God.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Lou Lily Wright Styles and her husband, James, of Cleveland; her sons: Carter H. Wright Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Chicago, Ill., Kenneth C. Wright and his wife, Linda, of Pocatello, Idaho, Roger A. Wright and his wife, Pam, of Cleveland, Steven M. Wright and his wife, Judy, of Canton, Ohio, and Arthur C. Wright of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Lois Franke and her husband, Richard, of Sacramento, Calif.; her brother, Louis Taylor Jr. and his wife, Ann, of Baltimore, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life service will be held Wednesday morning, July 16, 2014, at 11 a.m. from the North Ocoee chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes.
Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. from the U.S. National Cemetery in Chattanooga with her children serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 this evening at the funeral home.
