To The Editor:

This is written in appreciation to the rescue people responding to our emergency on Lower River Road.

On July 4, my husband (Roy Young) had an accident in our woods and needed help. Units from the fire department and EMS (Emergency Medical Service) answered the call.

They acted quickly, professionally and compassionately to his needs and carried him on a board to their vehicle.

We gratefully appreciate all their work.

Bradley County is fortunate to have such devoted men.

Thanks again and God Bless!
