Regular programming is back in full swing! Family game time will be on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room. This is a time when families can have fun playing board and card games and enjoying Wii entertainment.

Pokémon Club will meet in the storytime room at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Come join in the fun of Pokémon battles and card trading. Please bring your own cards. This club is designed for boys and girls ages 7-12.

The teens have a new and exciting gaming time every Monday beginning Aug. 11, from 4:30 through 6:30 p.m. They will be playing classic video games such as “Mario Kart” and the exhilarating “Just Dance” on the Wii and Xbox.

You may bring an E-rated (“E” for everyone) multiplayer game to share! The teens have a craft session on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the Young Adult Room. Join them to create wonderful works of art!

The Storytelling Guild will be meeting in the Community Room on Tuesday at 7 p.m. This meeting is open to all who enjoy listening to stories, and is also a chance to practice telling your own.

Book Club is reading “The Night Circus,” by Erin Morgenstern, this month. There are two copies still available! Ask for these at the Circulation desk. The club meets the third Wednesday of the month at 2 p.m. in the Carmichael Room.

In case you want to read ahead, the book for next month is “The Language of Flowers,” by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. Showing this month at Movie Night for adults is “American Hustle,” on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 6:30 p.m. More information will be available later this month.
