Louise H. Harris, 91, passed away Monday morning, Aug. 11, 2014, at Signature Healthcare in Cleveland.
She was a member of the East Side Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Harris; her parents, Carl and Maude Dobbs Housley; two sisters; Mary Helen Housley and Bonnie Ballard; and one brother, Thomas Ray Housley.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Billy Ray and Elaine Harris of Cleveland; one brother, Carl Gene Housley of Dayton; three grandsons: Richard J. Chadwick (Carrie), Doyal A. Chadwick and Lamar E. Mills (Stacey); one great-granddaughter, Ellie G. Mills; and several other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at noon at the East Side Church, 252 Wildwood Avenue, with ministers Jeff Archey and Bill Maynard officiating.
The interment will follow in the Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton with the minister Steve Brown officiating the committal service.
John Deck, Lamar Mills, Jack Hutsell, Cordell Yates, Chase Newman and Glen Miles will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the noon service time.
