William “Bill” Curtis Jr., 50, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, in Manchester, Ky.
He was an avid fisherman and a ball player.
He was preceded in death by grandparents: Otis and Cara Curtis, Bill Lovett and Virginia O’ridan; and his uncle, Glen Curtis.
He is survived by parents; Bill Curtis Sr. and Sandra Lovett Curtis of Cleveland; two children: Jacob Ryan Curtis of Rossville, Ga. and Cody Ray Curtis of Cleveland; sister, Robin Michelle Ayala and husband, Roberto; nephews: Christian and Hunter Ayala; and nieces: Autumn and Summer Ayala, all of Cleveland.
The funeral will be held Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Higgins officiating.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Scott Curtis, Mike Rayburn, Scott Whitt, Billy Banther, Drew Lilliard, Thomas Cabera and Pat McGuire serving as pallbearers.
A white dove release will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
