Firearms were the target for burglars who ransacked a home on Tunnel Hill Road.

According to a report filed by deputy Tim Robinson of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, Paul Davis said he returned home last Thursday and discovered several of his guns were missing.

A sniper rifle, a 9 mm handgun, several 12-gauge shotguns of various styles, cases and scopes were reportedly taken.

At the time of the report, serial numbers were not available.

Detective Mike Hughes of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene to aid in evidence collection.

The total value of the missing arms was listed at $1,750.

- Diane Cartwright of a Ladd Springs Road address reported the theft of lawnmowers.

Deputy Dustin McCall filed a report for Cartwright.

According to his report, Cartwright stated three red push-style lawnmowers were taken from her carport located at the rear of her home.

The mowers were possibly taken sometime last week or the week prior.
