One man is in custody and police continue to search for another who is suspected to have been involved in a number of church burglaries this past week.

Justin Bazzano, 25, has been arrested and charged with two counts of burglary and theft over $1,000 after he was established as a suspect in the burglary of Saint Therese Catholic Church.

Clint Neice, 25, has had warrants filed for his arrest in connection with the Saint Therese theft and several other church burglaries that were discovered this week, according to Det. Bill Parks of the Cleveland Police Department Criminal Investigations Division.

Bazzano was taken into custody and questioned early Friday morning, according to Parks.

Neice was also established as a suspect in the burglaries at Saint Therese, South Cleveland United Methodist Church and North Cleveland Baptist Church, with the latter two being reported the same day.

Parks and Interim Det. Lt. Matt Jenkins began looking into the Saint Therese burglary during the weekend. According to Jenkins, an undisclosed amount of cash had been taken from the office of Saint Therese.

Anyone having information regarding Neice is asked to contact the Cleveland Police Department by calling 728-7311 and selecting the correct voice prompts.

According to Parks, law enforcement had spoke with him earlier regarding the burglaries; however, he has since disappeared from where he was last seen and detectives were unable to regain contact with him.
