Sarah Sue Smith Trentham, 69, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday evening, May 4, 2010, after a lingering illness.She was the daughter of the late Joseph Alexander William Smith and Edna Caroline Evans Garrett. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Georgie Savannah Brown Smith; brother, Joseph Alexander Smith; and nephews: Joey Smith and Michael Nance.She worked at the family owned business, Cleveland Drapery Shop, for more than 30 years.She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons: Charles David Trentham and John Lester Trentham, both of Cleveland; three sisters: Georgie Ruth Snyder of New Market and Linda White and Caroline Smith, both of Cleveland; one brother, Daniel E. Smith of Cleveland; nephews: Noland Nance, Jimmy Smith, Michael Smith, Tommy A. Brock and Timothy Smith; nieces: Lisa Shelton, Suzanne Jackson, Michelle Randles, Tonya Fulton, Rhonda White and Elisha Voils.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2010, at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Dwight Herrod and Pastor Ted Dubs officiating.Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Polk County.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.Please view and sign the memorial book at jimrushfuneralhomes.com
