Viola Eaton Perian, 69, of Benton, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010, at her residence. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Lena Hunt Eaton. Survivors include her husband, Wilbert Perian; daughters: Una Mae Rogers, Debra Ann Simmonds and Janice Marie Perian; son, Wilbert Wilson Perian Jr.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister, Katherine Ellis; brothers: Henry Eaton, Jimmy Eaton and Johnny Eaton; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Duggan officiating. Interment will follow in Old Ocoee Cemetery with Billy Williams, Randy Simmonds, Bryan Parrish, Jamie Green, Robert Flake and Donnie Simmonds serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
