Charles K. Harmon, 81, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010, in a local health care facility.

He was a member of Black Fox United Methodist Church.

He was a self-employed candy salesman before retirement.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Effie Humberd Harmon and wife, Bernice Cunnyngham Harmon.

Survivors include his sisters-in-law: Frieda Cunnyngham, Robbie and husband Bill Quinn, all of Cleveland and Betty Huff of Clarksville; nephews: Bill Wooten of Chattanooga, Jimmy Dills of Cleveland and Gary Dyle and Junior Dye, both of Lenoir City; and several cousins.

A graveside service was to be held at 11 a.m. today, May 14, 2010, in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bill Beaty officiating.
